We head north to Okoboji this afternoon. Good to see the fam and hang on the lake (maybe) tomorrow with the kids. Funny how somewhere that used to be (and I suppose still kind of is...) home is now also a super fun get away spot! I love Okoboji in the summer...might even tuck the kiddos into bed and head up to the Park tonight for a coffee and stroll with Kari.
Have not been writing much of late; hoping that tide will turn here again...we shall see.
Summer rules. Kids out of school. Sun. Warm. Green. Blue skies. If only I could get up early and ride or run and enjoy...again, maybe the tide will turn?
